Coconut bites without oven

Ingredients:
-
250 grams of grated coconut (Ancel grated coconut)
-
150 grams of condensed milk
How to make it:
1.Mix the ingredients
Pour 150 grams of grated coconut into a large bowl. Add the condensed milk and stir with a spatula until the two ingredients are well combined.
2. Let it rest
Wait a few minutes before starting to shape the balls. With the moisture from the condensed milk, the grated coconut will hydrate and form a more compact dough.
3. Shape the balls
Take small portions of the dough and roll them into spheres of the same size. You can make them mini, for a single bite, or a little larger, about the size of a chocolate truffle.
4. Coat in coconut
Put the remaining grated coconut on a plate and roll the balls in it, coating them on all sides.
Alternatives for your coconut balls:
- If you like chocolate, try coating these balls with chocolate sprinkles, cacao nibs, or cocoa powder.
- Condensed milk is a fairly high-calorie ingredient, but keep in mind that there are also low-calorie condensed milks available.
- You can also coat the balls with chopped nuts or even with crushed corn nuts. (Available on Rapidito Latin Market)
